NEWMAN MEMORIAL EVENT

The Memorial event is the result of an ambitious undertaking by the Miles-Woodland family, in conjunction with the Newman Motorcycle Club Inc, to stage a supercross style night event in 2006.

Once the first Memorial had grabbed the community attention, the Miles-Woodlands and Newman Motorcycle Club set their sights on the ultimate prize…permanent track lighting.

BHP Billiton and East Pilbara Shire became the major sponsors of the lighting and with this the club installed permanent track lighting.

WHAT’S NEW IN 2012?

Riders will face an upgraded track, which will inspire great racing and a spectacle worth seeing.
